Fine Art Touch Website Launched on 09-29-2006

For Immediate Release

Nashville, Tennessee - September 29, 2006 - Harness House Publishing announced today that its newest web site, Fine Art Touch, is now online.

The site, located at www.finearttouch.com, is an art history website which examines the phenomenon that was Italian Renaissance Art, featuring articles by art historian Brenda Harness.  Complex factors present in Italian culture prior to, during, and shortly after the Renaissance are examined through the lives and works of historically prominent artists and events of the time.

"We're excited about being able to offer this information-based website which explores Italian Renaissance Art," Mrs. Harness said.

Articles on the site touch on works from Renaissance giants such as Michelangelo and Leonardo to lesser-known artists such as Verrocchio and Perugino. The articles include images of the artwork to help the reader better understand the work being discussed.

"I hope that readers will find this website to be educational and inspire them to learn more about the art and artists who have so profoundly influenced our own aesthetic sensibilities," said Mrs. Harness.

Fine Art Touch will be continuously updated with articles and news related to Italian Renaissance art. Other areas on the site include a glossary of art terms, summaries of news items about all types of art, and recommended reading.
